About Us

In NSW, we are currently operating 7 services, they are Sherpa Kids Hurstville (operating at   Hurstville Adventist School), Sherpa Kids Wahroonga Adventist (operating at Wahroonga Adventist School) and Sherpa Kids Tamworth (operating at St. Nicholas School Tamworth, St. Edwards School Tamworth, Kootingal Public School, St. Xavier’s School Gunnedah and St. Francis Xavier’s School Narrabri).

  • 10 years working experience in multinational corporate – Last 5 years as a Manager, Operations in Australian Customs and Australian Quarantine, managing a team of 40 located in Sydney, Melbourne and Philippines.
  • Focus on People development, Service deliverables and Regulatory compliance.
  • Current focus on professional business development and compliance of Sherpa Kids Hurstville Adventist, Wahroonga Adventist and Tamworth region on a full time basis.

Open 50 weeks of the year, to help families in the community.

We offer a wide range of flexibility, that Parents feedback to us, they have not experienced previously in this Industry.

We extend our services to other students who study around the community.

We focus on the personal touch, communication and providing a safe and enjoyable environment and we participate in fund raising events and support school volunteering.

William Wong – Director


  • Holds a Bachelor Degree of Commence, attained in the University of Sydney.

Angie Downes – Program Coordinator

Angie delights working in the education industry, her passion is to develop children’s interest in learning and play, by engaging children in the structured planned variety of programs.

Angie loves engaging with children and carrying out activities to nurture children’s interests and developments. Her friendly personality promotes welcoming interactions with the children and enable her to meet the children’s individual needs.

Angie is completing her Bachelor Degree of Education (Primary) in The University of New England.

Kate Zuiderduin – Program Assistant

Kate is a program assistant in Sherpa Kids family. Kate brought with her extensive experience in customer excellence, cooking and art and craft skills. Kate has a strong enthusiasm in developing her career in taking care of life’s important gift “children”.

Kate started at a very young age working with kids and she grew to love watching their different behaviours and helping form them into awesome human beings.  In Sherpa Kids, Kate is able to fulfil her skills and dream of teaching young children. Kate is a qualified Responsible Person for our daily operations.

Vicky Loftus – Area Coordinator

Vicky is a very active member in finding ways to serve our Community better. Her passion is to bring more happiness to the young generation, especially through their growing stages, in order to provide our Children with good and positive experiences for their Childhood memories.

Vicky plays an integral part in our service quality assurance, by leading our program coordinators, inputting creativity into our fun filled activities and evaluating the Children to ensure engagement is delivered to the highest quality.
