OUTSIDE school hours care has returned to Port Lincoln in 2014 in a limited capacity.
St Joseph’s School announced it will offer a service through a franchised service provider, Sherpa Kids.
Deputy principal Karen Browne said the school decided to do something after parents approached the school about the lack of outside school hours care in Por
“Parents were really finding it difficult to manage without an after school care service and didn’t have many options due to the shortage of carers available,” she said.
Mrs Browne said the facility would only be able to provide care for St Joseph’s students.
“The space allocated for the facility will only allow us to cater for the needs of our school families.”
The service began Monday.
